1. How do we secure a place on your calendar?
Let's start planning your story!
Once we connect and choose a date that feels just right, I'll send over a photography contract along with an invoice outlining payment options. A retainer is required at the time of signing to officially reserve your session date, and this amount will be credited toward the full session investment.
2. If the skies show bad weather, how do we pivot?
No worries at all - we'll navigate it together.
I'm always happy to stay flexible when the weather has other plans. If needed, we can reschedule for another available date or wait to see if conditions improve on the day of your session. If we choose to move forward despite unfavorable weather, please note that I’m unable to offer refunds or reschedules based on dissatisfaction with the final images.
3. When will we receive our fully edited photography gallery?
Your story is shot and edited with intention.
The fully edited gallery will be delivered within 4-6 weeks. Sessions held during the holiday season may require an additional week for delivery, ensuring every detail is honored with care. Your gallery will arrive digitally for easy viewing, downloading, and sharing.
4. How do I prepare for a portrait session with you?
You don't have to prepare alone - we'll plan it together.
From the very beginning, I'll guide you through choosing a location that complements your story and reflects the feeling you want your photos to hold. We’ll also collaborate on outfits that photograph beautifully and feel authentically you. My goal is for you to arrive relaxed, confident, and fully present, knowing every detail has already been thoughtfully planned.
5. How far in advance should we book our photography session?
Availability is intentionally limited to preserve a meaningful experience.
For portrait and lifestyle sessions, I open my calendar just two seasons at a time, which allows me to give each story the care it deserves. Weddings are the exception and are typically booked further in advance due to their unique planning timelines. If you have a date in mind, I always recommend reaching out sooner rather than later.
6. What level of retouching and editing is included in your photography services?
Editing is approached with intention and restraint.
Every image is carefully refined to reflect my true-to-life, timeless style. This includes minimal retouching such as blemish removal and the cleanup of overly distracting background elements when needed. I do not offer heavy Photoshop or body-altering edits and will only accept minor retouching requests that align with my natural editing approach. My goal is to preserve authenticity — honoring you as you truly are.
